Who we are

4nines is a trading name of 4NINES TECHNOLOGY LIMITED, a company registered in Scotland, company number SC882733. Registered office: 67b Bothwell Road, Hamilton, Scotland, ML3 0DW.

4nines provides booking, payment and venue operations technology to football venue operators. We work with venues, not directly with players.

If you book or play at a venue

When you book, pay or play at a venue that uses 4nines, the venue is the data controller. It decides how your information is used, and its own privacy policy applies. You will find it on the venue's booking website.

4nines is the venue's data processor. We process your information only on the venue's written instructions, under a data processing agreement, to run its bookings, payments and on-site systems. We do not use it for our own purposes, we do not market to you, and we never sell it.

To access, correct or delete your information, contact the venue. If you contact us instead, we will pass your request to the venue promptly and help it respond.

Card payments are handled by Ryft, a regulated payment provider. 4nines never sees or stores your full card number.

Where we are the controller

We are the controller only for information about our own business relationships:

Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running and securing our business, or the performance of our contract with the venue. We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact, and partner records for as long as our contract runs and six years after it ends.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts are loaded from Fontshare, so your browser shares your IP address with them when the page loads.

Who we share information with

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the platform and this website. They are listed on our sub-processors page, with what each one does and where it processes data. Where data leaves the UK, appropriate safeguards are in place.

Your rights

Where we are the controller, you can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive a copy of it. Use our contact form, choosing “Privacy request”, and we will respond within one month.

You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
